FAQ
Questions worth asking before you reach out.
If something isn't answered here, you're welcome to bring it up during our free consultation.
Fees & Getting Started
- Do you accept insurance?
- I'm currently a private pay practice and don't bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I'd recommend calling your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before we connect.
- What are your rates?
Individual
$150 / session
Couples
$175 / session
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots at a reduced rate for students, veterans, and people working in high-risk occupations. I'm happy to discuss availability during our free consultation.
- Do you offer a consultation?
- Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can get a sense of whether we're a good fit before committing to anything.
Sessions & Logistics
- Where are sessions held?
- All sessions are held virtually via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. I see clients throughout Colorado.
- How long are sessions?
- Standard sessions are 50 minutes.
- How often will we meet?
- Most clients start with weekly sessions, particularly in the early stages of treatment. We'll discuss what makes sense for your situation during our consultation.
- Do you work with teenagers?
- Yes. I work with adolescents ages 12 and up, using the same evidence-based approaches I use with adult clients.
About the Work
- What if I'm not sure I have OCD or anxiety?
- You don't need a diagnosis to reach out. If you're struggling and something on this site resonated with you, that's enough reason to start a conversation.
- How long does therapy take?
- That depends on what you're bringing in and what your goals are. Some people find significant relief in a focused short-term engagement. Others do deeper, longer-term work. We'll talk honestly about expectations as we go.
